It’s that time of year, folks! Vegas is popping off once again with the arrival of pool season, and it’s time to bring the nightlife party into the daylife realm. No other dayclubs do it better than the following hot spots. Pick your vibes, favorite DJs and performers and get ready to have some fun under the sun.
Do you love that Southeast Asia vibe, that island Thailand vibe? Tao Beach Dayclub at The Venetian has long been a staple of daylife, and a few years ago when they upped the ante with a complete redesign, the party and atmosphere got even better. The massive, 47,000-square-foot space offers lush greenery, intricate woodwork, a chic bohemian aesthetic and a big stage surrounded by cutting-edge technology. On the roster this season are Tiësto, Zedd, Steve Aoki and more, and this week catch Lil Jon with a special Cinco de Mayo set on May 4, Lavern on May 9 and DJ Pauly D on May 10.
When DJ Kygo and producer Myles Shear are behind the party, you know it’s gonna be a bomb time. The duo and their live events and hospitality company Palm Tree Crew have decided to open their own dayclub, Palm Tree Beach Club, in conjunction with Tao Group Hospitality, at MGM Grand. The space has taken over the old Wet Republic club and received a complete overhaul, so now the venue is reminiscent of that peach, pink and green, Palm Beach, Miami vibe. Signature cocktails, massive VIP bungalows, plenty of cabanas and daybeds, a top-tier audio-visual system and a ground-level stage create the perfect setting for big-name DJs, including this week’s grand opening party on May 4 with Zedd and Steve Aoki, DJ Shift on May 9 and Aoki again on May 10.

Resorts World Las Vegas has carved out a slice of intimate, dayclub heaven with Ayu Dayclub. The idyllic island vibes of Asia have popped up at the property, and the two-level dayclub with tons of different-sized cabanas and daybeds dotted along paths filled with towering palm trees and lush greenery set the scene for an awesome roster of both DJs and musical artists like Nelly, who performs May 4, DJ Flight on May 9 and James Hype on May 10. This season also welcomes stars like Illenium, Kaskade, Snoop Dogg and T-Pain.
Over at Mandalay Bay, one of the longest-running dayclubs, Daylight Beach Club, is still going strong because of its mix of upscale Mediterranean-inspired surroundings, huge pool and ginormous stage for live music. VIP bungalows with private dipping pools surround the main pool that faces the stage set for performances by a mix of hip-hop artists and EDM DJs. Hip-hop artists take over every Sunday for LIT Sundays with DJ J-Nice, DJ Romero and 112 on May 4, DJ Joseph Gettright performs his blend of musical mashups on May 8-9 and the special Soaked Saturday parties with high-energy DJs, water guns, spray tunnels and champagne spray packages welcome DJ Kid Funk on May 10.

Hip-hop lovers unite at the bougie and bomb dayclub Drai’s Beachclub at The Cromwell. The two-story dayclub has some of the best VIP bungalows, some with their own pools, and then two massive main pools, all with unbeatable views of the Strip from the rooftop location. A menu of elevated poolside eats and signature cocktails makes the experience even more special, and there are even two covered bar areas to take a break from the heat and settle into some air conditioning. Drai’s not only has a phenomenal lineup of hip-hop artists, but the energy and logistics that go into the live shows is nothing short of a full-blown concert experience. On the roster this season are Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo and Rick Ross, and this week catch Waka Flocka on May 4, Patrick Cornett on May 9 and Wiz Khalifa on May 10.
