If you want to bring a little of the fun of Vegas back home, then consider the Mixology Masterclass from The Cabinet of Curiosities at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
This class is a great way to help you take your at-home bartending game to the next level while experiencing some great cocktails as well. And from April 16-19 at the 4 p.m. session, this fun experience is sure to be even more cool, as the lounge is stirring the class up with a WWE theme.
Not only will charismatic resident mixologist Daniel Ponsky (as seen on Bar Rescue) show you how to create two themed cocktails, The Dirty Dom and Charlotte’s Flair, he’ll be dressed as his favorite wrestler. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorites, too. (Be aware that some casinos have rules about face paint and masks, so be sure to check before using those). You’ll learn the essentials tools, techniques and terminology of mixology, how to balance flavors and much more. Ponsky will also guide you as you create a third cocktail of your own design!
Sessions ($122 per person, plus fees) take place in a mixologist’s classroom and run 90 minutes to two hours, at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. (A charcuterie box is offered for an extra $20.) Participants also get a bartender’s apron to take home to remember the event. Reservations are required.
