Here’s a way to beat Las Vegas’ heat—L.A.’s trendy Happy Ice is coming to Vegas this weekend with its vegan-friendly water ice. Owner Lemeir Mitchell brought the treat made famous in Philadelphia to L.A. with a food truck in 2017—and he recently opened his first shop on Melrose Avenue this summer.
Catch the truck at Fashion Show mall where it will dish out eight flavors of the sweet icy treats from 2-10 p.m. Aug. 22-23 near the entrance to Macy’s. You can even get his signature ice, with all eight squeezed into one cup, creating a whimsical way to break up the heat of the day. Happy Ice, happy life!
