The ultimate goal while on vacation is to achieve the feeling that time has stopped. Singer Jimmy Buffett seems to know this feeling well, as it is the bedrock of his philosophy, his music and the Vegas restaurant Margaritaville. There, it takes the expression “it’s five o’clock somewhere” one step further; rather, it’s five o’clock all day long. Thus, it’s the perfect spot on the Strip to spend an hour or two (but, hey, who’s counting?).
You’d be remiss if you didn’t order a signature margarita. If you’re somewhat of a purist, order the Perfect Margarita, a blend of silver and gold tequilas, orange liqueur and lime juice. Then dig into signature dishes like the Cheeseburger in Paradise, Crispy Coconut Shrimp, Jimmy’s Jammin’ Jambalaya, or the delectable fish tacos, lightly fried in a LandShark beer batter and topped with mango pico de gallo.
