It might still be some time before celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis’ eponymous fine-dining restaurant at The Cromwell will return (the property has not yet reopened in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic), but, don’t worry—you can still experience her brilliant culinary skills at her fast-casual eatery, Pronto by Giada.
Pronto gives guests the option of either taking their Italian fare to go or settling into one of the cozy tables that the eatery provides. The menu is packed with so many delicious delights, but a few top picks include fresh-pressed paninis (the grilled cheese with hints of lemon and pesto), the lobster roll and one of the fresh formaggi and salumi platters. And it wouldn’t be a trip to Pronto without perusing the decadent desserts that include Giada’s famous lemon ricotta cookies and cakes by the slice.
Along with something sweet, order up a freshly brewed cup of the popular Counter Culture coffee.
