Black Tap Burgers & Beer is known for more than burgers and beer. Actually, you’re likely to be lured in by their enormous, decadent and Instagrammable CrazyShakes, because there’s truly nothing more appealing than a shake bedazzled with rainbow sprinkles and topped with a fat slice of funfetti cake. And don’t think you’re off the hook from ordering a CrazyShake because you’re vegan. They have a vegan shake the size of a candy factory for you, too.
But even if those over-the-top shakes brought you to Black Tap, make it a point to try the burgers—they’re tamer than the shakes, but equally eye-popping. Standouts include the Texan burger, which is dressed with bacon, an onion ring and Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, and the award-winning Greg Norman burger, a half-pound wagyu beef patty topped with house buttermilk-dill, blue cheese and arugula.
