With Labor Day around the corner, you may wonder what to do in Vegas. Well, we’ve got some very tasty ideas. A weekend brunch is never a bad idea, with delicious cocktails and dishes ranging from wholesome to whimsical. Space is limited, so make your reservations now!
Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca Brunch Drinks
At Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar (Red Rock Resort and Casino, 702.797.7344), brunch on the outdoor patio makes the morning and afternoon fine. Pair dishes like breakfast pizza; chicken and waffles; or an Impossible burger with libations such as the Aperol spritz or the Heat of Passion, which gets a kick from habanero and a Tajin rim. Bottomless mimosas are also nice!
Get an impressive seafood tower with shrimp, lobster oysters and crab—share if you must—at Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca’s (Green Valley Ranch, 702.617.7190) Saturday and Sunday brunch. Not only are there breakfast faves like French toast and lobster eggs Benedict, but you’ll also find Italian specialties including chicken piccata and tagliatelle bolognese.

Latin-inspired dishes make brunch at Chica (The Venetian, 702.805.8472) most pleasant. Heavenly corn cachapa pancakes with tropical toppings, buñuelos (like doughnuts), arepas, pastries, carne asada tacos, sunny-side up eggs and yucca hash are just a few of your choices. Mimosas, fresh juices and bloody Marys round out the offerings.
Although Salt & Ivy (Aria, 877.230.2742) doesn’t offer brunch per se, its breakfast and lunch offerings make it seem like brunch every day. Huge Dutch baby baked pancakes are stars of the morning scene—although a kale and mushroom fritatta is close behind—and a poke bowl shepherds you into the afternoon. Pair your morning repast with a build-your-own bloody Mary or endless prosecco.

Locals favorite Sparrow + Wolf (4480 Spring Mountain Road, 702.790.2147) announced its Sunday brunch at the end of July and it’s mega-cool, with innovative dishes like a duck confit cinnamon roll with duck fat frosting, and the Smash Bang burger with smoked cheese, wood-fired onions and scallion aioli.
Across from the Fountains of Bellagio, Hexx (Paris, 702.331.5100) offers brunch daily from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., with such delights as a jumbo lump crab cake, a Cinnaroll waffle with cream cheese icing, brioche French toast, shrimp pizza and a prime rib French dip. Bottomless mimosas, several oversize specialty cocktails and a variety of champagne and wine are perfect accompaniments to the show across Las Vegas Boulevard South.
Wicked Spoon buffet (The Cosmopolitan, 877.893.2001) is one of only a few buffets open in Las Vegas, and boy, buffets and brunch go together like cheese and crackers. Once you arrive (dining is limited to two hours), you’ll make your way through the line in a socially distanced manner and the staff will hand you dishes such as smoked salmon, Nutella toast, eggs Benedict, green chili tamales and Tandoori roasted chicken, as well as ice cream, macaroons and bread pudding.

In Las Vegas’ suburbs there are many excellent restaurants, including Americana (2620 Regatta Drive, Suite 118, 702.331.5565), where chef Stephen Blandino’s Sunday brunch is offered lakeside from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., with specialties such as shrimp and grits, a creamy polenta with pickled ramps and brioche French toast with berry jam and maple syrup.
