Although Las Vegas has transformed into a food mecca, there’s still room for the culinary scene to grow, and there may be no better chef to help guide Vegas into a new era of dining than David Chang, for his restaurant Majordomo Meat & Fish brings a fresh update to the standard steakhouse.

Start your meal here with a cocktail, such as the Majordomo Sour, a blend of bourbon, génépi, winter spice and lemon. But, honestly, any cocktail will pair well with an order of bing bread, a fluffy sort of pancake that’s dipped or topped with several accompaniments, such as chickpea dip or shaved foie gras. Other appetizers include the crispy shrimp with cashew, sesame and honey butter, or the towering shellfish plateau.

For the entrée, you’d be remiss to skip the smoked prime rib dinner, a massive hunk of Creekstone prime beef that’s smoked until medium rare.
