Traditionally, resort pools and their supplemental venues are not available to nonguests. But a new open-air restaurant at Bellagio, Como Poolside Café & Bar, located in the pool and garden area, is available to everyone, regardless of where they are staying. And in addition to a great menu of breakfast and lunch delights during pool season (there’s a light bites menu available later in the day), the ambience here cannot be beat. Whether you walk in or make a reservation, you’ll be made to feel special.

From now until October, enjoy a wide variety of Mediterranean-inspired delights, from specialty craft cocktails to cuisine for all palates. Start with a Spritz Tree, part of the venue’s Aperol spritz program and containing a variety of spritzes to be shared among friends.

Great breakfast options include the Mediterranean omelet, made with egg whites and blending in feta cheese, zucchini, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, spinach and bell peppers, and the smoked salmon bagel, so good with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, capers and Fresno chilis.

Or stop in for a fun lunch. The hamachi crudo is a must, with thinly sliced fish, grapefruit, orange, citrus vinaigrette and radish, and grilled salmon piccata really sings with lemon caper sauce. There’s also a terrific skewer selection, with your choice of New York strip, Mary’s chicken or shrimp, all accompanied by pita and cucumber.
