One of the most-anticipated events all year for local foodies is Las Vegas Restaurant Week, where not only do you get to indulge your palate, but you also give a helping hand to those in need. Dine at one of the partner restaurants and Three Square Food Bank receives a donation for each prix fixe menu sold.
The list features some of the most popular restaurants on the Strip, as well as plenty of others from across the entire Las Vegas Valley, many with celebrated chefs. It’s a great way to check out a place you’ve always wanted to dine. This year, Restaurant Week stretches from June 3-14, so take advantage of the opportunity to try a few places.
The list is extensive, and you’ll undoubtedly spend quite a few minutes narrowing down your breakfast, lunch and dinner choices (as we did). You can filter by price, cuisine, location, donation amount and dining type; there are even several available for takeout, and special offerings.
Here are a few of our favorites, but go to the Restaurant Week website, restaurantweeklv.org, to choose yours. Some restaurants do require reservations:
• At Resorts World Las Vegas, you’ll want to get a table at Carversteak, where you’ll find black cod with oyster mushrooms and filet mignon from Allen Bros. Or stop at the vegan Crossroads Kitchen and enjoy stuffed zucchini blossoms and foraged mushroom malfaldin.
• Capital Grille at FSLV—Fashion Show is spotlighting filet mignon for its dinner, among other items. Also at FSLV, Happy Camper offers 13 pizza choices for its three-course lunch.
• At The STRAT, you’ll find great dishes like bulgogi fried rice at Chi Asian Kitchen, quesa birria tacos at PT’s Wings & Sports, and blackened flat iron steak at Top of the World, plus apps like calamari fries and sticky Korean short ribs.
• A short distance south on Las Vegas Boulevard at The Venetian, there are plenty of restaurants participating in Restaurant Week. Look for special menus at Buddy V’s Ristorante, with lunch and dinner featuring classic Italian dishes; Delmonico Steakhouse, whose lunch menu includes a Creekstone Farms black Angus sandwich; and Canyon Ranch Cafe, with lobster and shrimp tacos for brunch.
• Mr Chow at Caesars Palace is offering a decadent tasting menu for dinner. That’s a big yes!
• At Paris Las Vegas, Mon Ami Gabi gets you close to the Strip with a fresh lunch menu with a scrumptious tomato salad, and a dinner menu with multiple choices like cavatelli and prawns.
• Head to Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay for a prix fixe menu where you can munch on seared scallops with porcini cream and mushroom marmalade, wagyu skirt steak and lemon tart.
• If you’re near the Silverton Casino Lodge, be sure to get a reservation at Twin Creeks Steakhouse for the herb-marinated flat iron steak and strawberry shortcake popsicle.
• Get the special promotion at Velvet Bar at Westgate Las Vegas, where every order of the King Cocktail means $2 for Three Square.
There’s so many more menus to explore. Bon apetit!
