Golden Nugget has a rich history in Las Vegas, and a big part of that is its dining program. Here you will find restaurants to suit every palate, but particularly notable is Saltgrass Steak House, not just for its great steak dinners but the fact that, on weekends, you can even get breakfast and lunch.

If you’re at Saltgrass Steak House for dinner, we strongly recommend the Range Rattlers as an appetizer—made with jumbo jalapeños, shrimp, jack cheese and cilantro, with ranch dressing for dipping. (My favorite!) If the spice of that is a bit daunting, the fried mushrooms are a wonderful alternative, dusted with Parmesan cheese and, again, served with that wonderful ranch.

For a real flavor bomb before your main course, the steak salad is where it’s at, with crisp romaine lettuce topped with center-cut top sirloin, potatoes, eggs, flash-fried green beans, black olives, onions, tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles, all drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. Now get ready to dig into a certified Angus beef cut, each cooked with Saltgrass-7 steak spice and topped with garlic butter before serving. Choices include sirloin, ribeye, New York strip, porterhouse and filet, and all pair perfectly with sides like smoked macaroni and cheese and baked sweet potatoes.

For breakfast fans, there’s a wide range of omelets and skillets, while lunch patrons can enjoy burgers, ribs and homemade soups.
