When HaSalon quietly opened last summer at The Venetian, it wasn’t long before it garnered fans eager to dine at the Mediterranean cuisine hot spot by Shahar Segal and Eyal Shani. Since then, it’s served thousands, with patrons lapping up the atmosphere.

Shani welcomed the grand opening last year with a huge party. And earlier this September, the restaurant celebrated its first anniversary, with executive chef of HaSalon in Las Vegas Ivan Villasana presiding over an omakase-style tasting dinner with many of the venue’s best dishes.

“Celebrating our first year in Las Vegas is a testament to the magic and the thrill of indulgence that this city embodies,” said chef Eyal in a release. “Our goal has always been to create not just a dining experience but a euphoric escape where every guest can lose themselves in the enchantment of the night.”

Villasana will also host future dinners, so check for those on your return trips to Vegas. But for this trip, try the Potato Full of Herself, a twice-baked masterpiece topped with Osetra caviar, and a butterflied grilled branzino—for 2 humans, according to the incredibly inventive “sketchbook” menu. The Terrifying Hammer is also popular, with beef beaten onto the table itself—what a spin on the term “tableside.”
