The Gordon Ramsay restaurant empire in Las Vegas continues to expand with the opening of the celebrity chef’s seventh location on the Las Vegas Strip: Gordon Ramsay Burger at Flamingo. And while you might expect a significantly heightened burger experience here, that’s just the beginning, as Ramsay has added several pleasant surprises to an already strong menu.
The 12,000-square-foot space, designed by DEZMOTIF Studios and featuring a large exhibition kitchen (similar to Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace), Gordon Ramsay Burger serves up some of the most delicious sandwiches on the Strip. If you want to stick with the basics, the Backyard Burger features American cheese, butter lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and red onions, but for the more adventurous, the Southwest Burger (a specialty item) will delight your taste buds with an asada-marinated beef patty, asadero cheese, cilantro, avocado, citrus aioli and butter lettuce.
For a change of pace, other specialties include the Idiot Burger, which uses braised short rib as its meat, Gruyère and cheddar cheese, roasted mushrooms and a spicy tomato chutney, while the Cluck Yeah GFC Sandwich smothers its fried chicken with red cabbage slaw, pickled red onions and cilantro on a brioche bun.
And get ready for a real treat! Brunch fans will be delighted to find out that Gordon Ramsay Burger serves an all-day version, with meals like the Benedict Burger, where hollandaise sauce and a fried egg accompany a pork patty, Canadian bacon and baby spinach, and the Full English Breakfast Burger, featuring an English banger patty, bacon, mushrooms, a fried egg, roasted tomato, HP sauce and baked beans.
Don’t forget a delicious beverage to wash all this down! The signature Pink Drink is crisp and satisfying with champagne, Absolut vodka, cassis, raspberry gomme and a lemon twist, while the Bloody Blonde is a perfect brunch drink with yellow tomato, vodka, pepperettes and mozzarella balls.
And the desserts here are all worth your time, especially the Sticky Toffee Waffle, a clever twist on Ramsay’s classic sticky toffee pudding, served with toasted pecans and vanilla ice cream.
