One of the best new restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip, Caramella, now has an additional reason to visit again and again: an all-you-can-eat brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. If you’ve not yet been to this amazing offering from the Tao Group on the mezzanine level of Planet Hollywood, this is a perfect way to start.
The space is so elegant yet so fun. The main dining room has plenty of seating, with pink and burgundy cushioning in booths lit by sconces that look like monkeys reading newspapers. Elsewhere, you’ll find a candy shop, a secret door to a hidden lounge and patio dining that offers stunning views of the Fountains of Bellagio.
At $55 per person, this might be one of the best meal deals on the entire Strip. Given that this is all-you-can-eat, you may have a tough time figuring out where to start. We recommend starting light with bites like garlic cheese bread, veal Parmigiano meatballs, tuna tartare arancini, jumbo shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell.
Now it’s down to business! The chicken and waffles, highlighted by crispy Mary’s Chicken, candied pecans, Calabrian crema and bourbon maple syrup, will satisfy even the heartiest appetites, while vegetarians can stock up on caprese avocado toast, made with grilled country break, heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella and aged balsamic. For an additional $10, add strip steak and three eggs your way to your order.
If you’re looking for classic house specialties, Caramella has all bases covered, from stuffed chicken Parmigiana and cavatelli Bolognese to spaghetti carbonara and spicy tomato penne. You can also add sides like Nueske’s bacon, Caramella home fries, zucchini hash (sooo good!) and grilled broccoli.
What would brunch be without the drinks? For an additional $39, add your choice of bottomless Bloody Marys, mimosas or Bloody Marias (using tequila instead of vodka) to the experience.
Please tell us you’ve saved room for dessert! Yes, it’s an additional $10, but every single one of Caramella’s offerings are worth it, especially the signature Caramella tart, made with dark chocolate custard and salted caramel.
