It’s kitschy, it’s fun and it’s legit good food. The new pop-up restaurant, Netflix Bites at MGM Grand, is a meal with meaning—meaning, if you’re a true fan of the streaming service, you’ll have a good time exploring dishes, desserts and drinks inspired by some of its most bingeable shows.
You can’t miss the entrance to this already hot spot, thanks to its glowing, red façade, reminiscent of the opening credits of (what’s arguably Netflix’s most popular show) Stranger Things. Speaking of Stranger Things, the menu is packed with goodies inspired by the show like Eleven’s Feast, featuring chicken sandwiched betweeen tiny waffles and served with waffle fries (shout out to Eggo!). The Stranger Wings are nice and crisp, but made better, nay, will “turn taste buds upside down,” with your choice of flavorings like buffalo sauce, lemon pepper dry rub or barbecue sauce. You also can’t miss the Surfer Boy Pizza section of the menu (shout out to Argyle, dudes!) with pies like Hellfire Honey, a hot honey pan pizza and the Plain Jane Cheese Pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce and grated Romano. Pair the dishes with The Mind Flayer cocktail and slip into tipsiness with its blend of Maker’s Mark, lemon juice, blackberries, St-Germain, Giffard crème de mure, ginger syrup and a lightning-like cotton candy cloud.

Some would arguably say that Squid Games is the most popular Netflix show, and fans are in luck with interactive bites and sips based on the Korean thriller. Start with the dessertlike cocktail Dalgona Rum Buzz, a mix of Bacardi Superior rum, Myers’s Original Dark rum, Frangelico, honey, oat milk and a unique coffee foam. The garnish is, you guessed it, inspired by the dalgona game episode, and features a honeycomb candy with a shape stamped into the treat waiting for you to play the game and remove it without breaking it into pieces. Play another game when you order the Red Bite, Green Bite—spin the wheel and let fate decide which sauce you’ll dip your fried chicken into.
The list of dishes inspired by Netflix favorites goes on and on. Fan of Wednesday? Then let Thing help you dip into a huge pile of the black-colored Nachos Nevermore that are smothered in blood-red salsa and packed with cheddar cheese sauce, avocado, jalapenos, queso fresco and crema. Did you love the suspenseful Bird Box? Then order up the Bird, Boxed, an actual box stuffed with fried chicken, mac and cheese, biscuit and potato wedges. How about the swashbuckling good time show, One Piece? All eyes in the restaurant will be on your table when you order The Grand Showboat, filled to the decks with nori rolls, spicy tuna sashimi, cured carrots, cucumber and pickled ginger. And keep it light with the quinoa-chickpea patty Lucky Boy Burger or the Beverly Hills Cobb.

Go indulgent with dessert with the U.S.S. Butterscotch Sundae, vanilla scoops doused in butterscotch sauce, crumbled Heath Bar, whipped cream and cherries or the Trunchbull’s Chocolate Cake, rich velvety chocolate cake layered with chocolate custard and chocolate buttercream. Dessert gets fun with the Is It (Cheese) Cake, inspired by the Is It Cake? series. You’ll get to choose which is the actual slice of cheesecake and which is the fake. (This diner’s guest guessed wrong!) And take your crack at being a baker with the Nailed It! dessert, based off the show of the same name. Baking tools, white sheet cake, fondant, frosting and toppings are all presented to you, along with a timer—you’ll have five minutes to create your best mini cake!
