This moody gastropub features a welcoming menu of American food with plenty of flavorful twists (and fun names, too), and this summer added a bunch of new dishes. Starters include Junk Yard nachos, with grilled chicken, cheddar cheese and nacho cheese, black beans, roasted corn, jalapeño cheddar cheese, nacho cheese, black beans and smoky crema—it’s pretty much got every good thing in the world. Sandwiches include the Crispy Business chicken sandwich, with a 6-ounce brined breast fried in a spicy buttermilk batter with sriracha aioli, and the Cheesy Rider sandwich, a take on a Philly with chopped steak, provolone, wild mushrooms, grilled onions and hot cherry peppers.
For a shared meal, opt for a pizza. New choices include Meat Me on the Red Planet, with pepperoni, salami and bacon; the Marg in Charge, with heirloom tomato, sliced mozzarella, basil and Parmesan; and Shroom With a View, with white cream sauce, wild mushrooms, Parmesan and mozzarella, broccolini, caramelized onions and spring mix on a black crust. There’s a kids menu, too, so no worries if you bring the fam.
