Benihana, a 2026 Las Vegas Magazine Hall of Fame inductee that recently celebrated its 51st anniversary at Westgate Las Vegas, remains one of the premier teppanyaki experiences in town, and it continues to find new ways to keep diners coming back for more.
From now until March 31, the restaurant is offering the following options:
• Wagyu of the World ($69 per person), which includes your choice of a 4-ounce Japanese wagyu bistro filet, a 5-ounce Japanese Tokyo broil or a 4-ounce Australian wagyu filet, accompanied by onion soup, uchi no salad, wagyu fried rice and hibachi vegetables.
• 12-ounce teppanyaki ribeye steak ($51 per person), accompanied by vegetable fried rice and your choice of sauce—chili pineapple, ginger teriyaki or spicy mayo.
• Hibachi burrito, made with your choice of chicken ($14.50), steak ($18.50), shrimp ($14.50) or RA RA Shrimp ($15.50), served with uchi no salad and your choice of the sauces listed above.
• The Prickly Pear Margarita ($19), made with Casamigos reposado tequila, lime agave sour and prickly pear purée, topped with a float of Grand Marnier.
• Rocky’s Magarita ($19), made with Altos Plata tequila, Combier d’Orange, organic agave and yuzu, finished with Grand Marnier (available in traditional, mango, passion fruit or strawberry).
The centerpiece of the 38,000-square-foot Benihana Village (which, when you include Rikki Tiki Sushi and Silk Road Asian Bistro, make this one the largest in the world) is practically an entertainment venue, with skilled chefs whipping up your meal in front of you, serving up everything from New York strip steak and mushrooms (by far the most popular item) to the Benihana Trio of filet mignon, chicken breast and colossal shrimp. The two weeks of intensive training shows in every chef here; they’re quick with jokes as they deftly grill and move items around, never missing a beat.
Over its half-century of existence, this Benihana has been enjoyed by some of the biggest celebrities and sports figures in history, from Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga to Mike Tyson and Kobe Bryant. It’s also undergone many phases, from a 1992 remodel to the addition of a sushi bar in 2002. But the basic philosophy of the restaurant has never changed: Make every guest feel like family.
