On Thursday, July 31, ELITE members and their guests were transported back in time to a legendary moment in music history—the night Elvis Presley, the King of Rock 'n' Roll, first stepped onto the International Theater stage (now Westgate Las Vegas) on July 31, 1969.
The evening began with a reception in Westgate's Concierge Lounge, featuring delicious light bites and complimentary Elvis-inspired cocktails sponsored by Casamigos and Ketel One Vodka.
Dawn Rawle, Westgate's Senior VP of Marketing and Entertainment, welcomed the group alongside David Stanley, Elvis’ stepbrother. Guests also enjoyed fun giveaways including the iconic red Elvis scarf, vinyl record coasters and signature Elvis sunglasses.
At the conclusion of the reception, guests made their way to the historic International Theater for the main event, 1969 Live! The King Returns—a performance that was more than just a tribute. It was a journey through time, as Travis Powell recreated the setlist from Elvis' unforgettable debut there over 50 years ago.
