Choose three of your favorite offerings at your property.

Amaya Modern Mexican has become one of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants with specialty offerings such as whole fire-roasted octopus and fire-dancing entertainers in a Tulum-inspired atmosphere. LPM Restaurant & Bar brightens the dining experience in an open, sunlit room during the day, and city lights shine through the patio during the night serving fine Mediterranean cuisine with unique art pieces throughout the venue. Jaleo welcomes guests into a communal space with social interaction as typical of traditional Spanish cuisine. There is an additional option of a separate “secret” restaurant within the space boasting a unique Spanish tasting experience.

What is your go-to lunch spot, both on and off the Strip?

On the Strip—Eataly at Park MGM offers many lunch options at the various stands, including grilled steak/seafood, freshly made pasta, pulled mozzarella and burrata, baked focaccia with mounds of toppings, aromatic espresso drinks and delectable desserts to top it off. Off the Strip—Any Asian cravings in Chinatown such as ramen, sushi, Korean BBQ and Taiwanese boba/bubble tea. Some of my favorites include Kabuto Edo Mae Sushi, Sora Ramen, Hobak Korean BBQ, Xiao Long Dumplings and TP Tea.

Name some of your favorite steakhouses and why.

Bavette’s Steakhouse at Park MGM—The ambience at Bavette’s stands out, being such a warm and swanky lounge-like atmosphere. The entry is unassuming in the middle of the casino, and as you walk in you would think you’re already in the lounge. Alas, it’s simply the reception area. It’s quite comfortable to enjoy a specialty Old-Fashioned at the bar. Steaks are cooked to perfection, and I would encourage guests to try the heaping serving of bone marrow and seasonal oysters.

Where is there to go to listen to live music?

The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas serves as a wonderful universal venue to showcase up-and-coming and popular artists as well as comedians and even podcasts. If you’ve yet to experience the venue, seek general admission standing floor tickets to feel the ground literally shake due to the flexible structure.

Where can a guest go to get their hair and makeup done?

The majority of the luxury hotels on the Strip offer luxury spa and salon services. Namely, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Aria and Bellagio offer elevated experiences. All are centrally located on The Strip to easily navigate your next endeavor.

Can you share some speakeasy spots and how to get in?

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is well-known for speakeasy spots: Beauty & Essex: If you didn’t know about the restaurant, you would only notice a functioning pawn shop. To access the speakeasy, you will need to step through the unmarked door in the corner. Ghost Donkey: At first glance, this seems to be a janitorial closet behind public seating within our Block 16 Food Hall between Hattie B’s Hot Chicken and Lardo. Ski Lodge: An easily missed door with a small tile featuring a skier connected to our unique entertainment restaurant Superfrico. The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails: Yet another functioning venue operating as an actual barbershop where you may enjoy a drink during your haircut. Simply walk past the barbers and patrons to go through what seems to be a bathroom door. A few other noteworthy locations: Easy’s Cocktail Lounge at Aria, located within Easy Donuts & Coffee. Màs Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila: Located in Chinatown at The Center at Spring Mountain following a longer hallway behind the initial taco shop façade. Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den at Resorts World Las Vegas: The entryway is on the back wall of Fuhu Cha Chaan Teng in the Famous Foods Street Eats Food Hall.

What are some of the best pieces of advice that you offer to your guests?

Aside from the typical advisory for restaurants, shows, activities, tours, etc., it’s valuable information to properly assist guests in navigating the Strip via walkways, bridges, trams or transportation in general. Also, providing navigation advice to and from Downtown Las Vegas or simply the expectation of visiting the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign.

What lounges have the best views of Las Vegas at night?

My top recommendation for views of Las Vegas is Skyfall Lounge at W Las Vegas. Secondary options at Waldorf Astoria with new lounges—Peacock Alley (day) & Hard Shake (night.)

What are some of the best Chinatown eateries?

Some eateries in addition to my previously mentioned speak for themselves: Partage—Modern French dining offering a wine club membership with additional venues connected, Le Club and Grand Cru. Sparrow & Wolf—Modern eatery with unique seasonal ingredients at an approachable fair. Aburiya Raku—Upscale Izakaya specializing in different grilled meats including wagyu over a robata grill. Toridokoro Raku—Casual option versus Raku with a focus in serving all parts of chicken over a robata grill. Trattoria Nakamura-YThe only notable Italian restaurant with prominent Japanese influence. The pasta with Uni tomato cream sauce is a must-try.
