Wave your arms, get ready, now join in the fun and spell out “Y.M.C.A.” with the iconic Village People, who will be bringing disco to Las Vegas this week when they appear at the Golden Nugget. Yes, cowboy, Native American, biker, construction worker, GI and cop, the characters who make up the band, are ready to dance the night away.

The energetic group has sold more than a million records. Live concerts provide not just great music and memories but humor and over-the-top moves. Expect hits such as “Macho Man,” “In The Navy” and “Can’t Stop the Music,” which are legendary. While there have been cast changes through the years since the band formed (in 1977), Felipe Rose and Alex Briley are original members, and Ray Simpson joined in 1979.
