Actor/musicians out of The Big Apple, this duo has turned into quite the attention–getting act partially due to a no-pants policy, but also their wholly original musical-comedy style. Comprised of inventive covers and madcap mashups performed on an eclectic array of instruments—imagine the nerd-cool sound of cello, ukulele, hollow tubes, glockenspiel and melodica—the repertoire is rife with bizarre juxtapositions and wacky harmonies.
Reviews note their habit of segueing from “Let It Go” (from Frozen) to Nelly’s “Hot in Herre” (yes, that’s when they strip) and from Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” to the toddler song “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.” Oh, and pivoting from Britney Spears’ “Toxic” to Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison.” How do you get tickets?
