Ease up on the pedal there, lead foot—you don’t want to race past this opportunity if you’re an auto enthusiast. Four-wheel fantasies could come true for you at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction, where some of the world’s most envied autos go on the block.

There’s the 2007 Mustang GT Tasca Custom, with a roaring 486-horsepower engine, a wild-flame custom paint job and luxury exterior extras. Jonesing for European style? Eyeball the 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo. One of only approximately 800 shipped to the U.S., it has logged less than 40,000 miles on the odometer and is distinguished by its “turbo-lag,” in which a moment’s delay when you hit the gas is followed by a spectacular burst of propulsion.

More stately in its styling, a 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Drophead Conversion has been restored to like-new condition, chalking up only 200 miles since its refurbishing. New tires, radiator, brakes and air conditioning are part of the upgrade, and the signature Rolls-Royce interior woodwork has been spruced up as well.

Let’s not leave out the 2005 Bentley Continental GT, with parking sensors, a turbo-charged engine generating a 520-horsepower surge, a six-speed automatic transmission and 200-mph capability. (When you buy it, just keep it at or below our speed limit—at least until you get beyond our city limits.) All of this auto eye candy is on display at Mandalay Bay—so hit the gas, lead foot.

Mandalay Bay, 8 a.m. Sept. 24-26, starting at $20 plus tax and fee. 800.745.3000 Ticketmaster
