Fantasy, the dynamic and sexy adult revue at Luxor, has the distinction of being one of the most successful shows on the Las Vegas Strip, having just celebrated its 17th anniversary. It continues to draw enthusiastic audiences largely in part to its dynamic, award-winning producer Anita Mann.
A former dancer herself, Mann is at the helm of all things Fantasy but humbly says it is a team effort, crediting cast, crew, support staff, a wonderful partnership with the Luxor and MGM Resorts international Corporation and, yes, luck.
And not to be forgotten, said Mann, are the wonderful audiences and the many guests who return to see the show year after year.
“We keep changing and improving the show because we want and love repeat business. Changes make it exciting and fun for the cast as well as audiences. There are always some new numbers in the show at least once a year, and more often twice a year,” said Mann.
“I am so lucky to have a dedicated cast of talented, beautiful and intelligent performers who all care about the production, and work hard to make it a success. Add Lorena Peril, our bombastic lead singer, and the comedic talents of Sean E. Cooper, and there is something for everyone.”
Mann emphasizes that the show is “keeping up with the times,” pointing out that dance has become very popular on TV. In fact, Mann said, four-time Emmy Award-nominee director, choreographer and dancer Mandy Moore, who choreographs for Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, choreographed the new closing number for Fantasy, set to Justin Timberlake’s smash hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
“It’s an honor for Fantasy that she took time out of her busy schedule to do this for us,” said Mann.
Also in celebration of the 17th anniversary is a 2017 calendar with the theme “Natural Beauties of Las Vegas” featuring the gorgeous ladies of Fantasy.
