Don’t miss a minute of the football frenzy. The obvious choice would be to hit up your hotel’s race and sports book, but you can also catch all the pigskin action at various spots around town, with many of the venues offering food and drinks specials throughout the season. Don’t know where to start? Let us get you going in the right direction.

Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo (702.607.2665) offers game day festivities all in one package. Place your bets with the sports book, reserve a table with plush sofas in the stadium-style seating area or hang out on the Stripside patio. More than 100 high-def screens, including one massive 9-by-16-foot main screen, are spread throughout the venue so you can catch all the action from any angle.

There are also VIP suites so you and your friends can party in privacy. Guests can also indulge in chef Emeril Lagasse’s signature cuisine, and every Monday and Thursday night, the menu will be themed to the teams. For example, Monday, Oct. 10 (Buccaneers vs. Panthers), features spicy crab and Carolina-style pulled pork, and Thursday, Oct. 13 (Broncos vs. Chargers), features lamb burgers and mahi mahi fish tacos.

Right upstairs from Lagasse’s you’ll find the Lavo Casino & Sports Lounge (702.791.1800). The swank hangout hosts both the Sunday Football Viewing Party and Saturday College Viewing Party throughout the season. Catch the games on one of the 17 big-screen televisions or try your hand at one of the blackjack, roulette and craps tables. Fans can also use their smartphones and stream live audio of games through the hearTV app. Game-day eats feature scrumptious bites from Lavo’s kitchen, such as Sicilian meat lover’s pizza and 3-foot heroes.

Take game day action to the links at Topgolf Las Vegas (702.933.8458). The newly built, indoor-outdoor golfing and entertainment complex kicked off its Thirsty Night Football party that runs throughout the season. Watch Thursday night games on more than 300 HDTVs located throughout the complex, including four ginormous outfield 28-by-50-foot screens. Local radio station 98.5 KLUC hosts the party that will offer drinks specials, giveaways and themed-food specials.

If you like watching football outdoors, Beer Park at Paris (702.444.4500) is one of the coolest places in which to do so. (the Strip views aren’t bad either!) The 10,000-square-foot rooftop bar and grill hosts Monday night football and Saturday college football tailgate brunch and BBQ. Roaming snack carts with concession-style treats, an open-flame grill cooking gourmet brisket and ribs over beechwood chips, and faux-grass and picnic tables all add to the backyard party vibe. Add in the 100 beer options, including 36 beers on tap, and Beer Park is a true hot spot for football.

Down the Strip inside Harrah’s, hit up the newly remodeled Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill (702.693.6111) for its Hangover Sundays party hosted by Miller Lite all season long. Catch the game while nursing that hangover with the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, or enjoy unlimited Bloody Marys, mimosas or domestic drafts from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for only $25 per person. Want to place a bet? A kiosk opens onsite every Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m.

And for something a little different, check out the pig roast every Monday night at Michael Mina’s Pub 1842 at MGM Grand (702.891.3922). Tailgate at the restaurant during the game and order up a quarter- or half-pound portion of a pig for your table while cheering on the gridiron gang.
