Just because British hard rock band Bring Me the Horizon rocks slightly less hard on its most recent album, 2015’s That’s the Spirit, that doesn’t mean that their music has become any less intense. The band released its first EP, 2004’s This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For, when the members were still just teenagers. Thanks to persistent touring in the U.S. on festivals like Taste of Chaos and the Warped Tour, BMTH managed to debut in the top 20 of the Billboard album charts when their third album was released in 2010. Its fan base has grown both in Europe and in America since then, and with That’s the Spirit the band is poised to reach an even wider audience while retaining their energy and ambition.
