The list of artists with whom Marsha Ambrosius has collaborated in her career as a singer-songwriter is as impressive as her soaring voice. Macy Gray, Busta Rhymes, Queen Latifah, Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar—you name the contemporary performer, odds are Ambrosius has been featured with them. Then there are her songwriting credits, as she’s penned tunes for none other than Alicia Keyes and Michael Jackson.

Given her long history as a team player,it comes as little surprise that when Ambrosius decided to embark on a 40-city spring tour she chose to partner with an equally gifted singer. Ambrosius and R&B artist Eric Benét launched the M.E. Tour on March 30, and they’ve since been treating audiences to a double dose of powerhouse, soulful vocal performances—both separate and in tandem.

That means in addition to seeing Benét perform his 2016 hit single “Sunshine” and Ambrosius deliver her two biggest smashes—“Hope She Cheats on You (With a Basketball Player)” and “Far Away,” from her 2010 studio debut Late Nights & Early Mornings—fans will be treated to surprise duets. Call it a two-for-one treat for the soul.
