Kings of Leon has been a family affair since the band formed nearly 20 years ago, with the bond among Followill brothers Nathan, Caleb and Jared, plus cousin Matthew, withstanding the rise to stardom. The Followills synthesized influences from country, Southern rock, punk and grunge to create a sound rooted in their Tennessee upbringing but not old-fashioned or insular. As the band’s success grew, the sound grew, too, into the hook-filled arena rock of hits like “Sex on Fire,” “Notion” and “Use Somebody.” New album WALLS, the band’s seventh, has launched radio hits “Waste a Moment” and “Reverend,” and is its first No. 1 on the Billboard album charts.

Joining Kings of Leon on this tour is rootsy rock band Dawes, who hail from Southern California and are influenced by ’70s folk-rock acts like Joni Mitchell and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
