When Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy hits the U.S., he doesn’t mess around. In support of his recent second album, Nation of Two, Joy is making appearances at some of America’s biggest music festivals, and spending three months touring the rest of the country. Thanks to the spillover from the massive outdoor Coachella festival in Southern California, Joy will be stopping in Vegas, giving fans a chance to see him in a more comfortable indoor environment, with a headlining set showcasing songs from his two acclaimed albums.

Joy’s early single “From Afar” made him a star in his home country, and with his second single, “Riptide,” he achieved international success, hitting the charts in more than a dozen countries, including the U.S. Taylor Swift even covered “Riptide,” and then took Joy on tour with her the following year. Joy has had a string of further hit singles, including “Mess Is Mine,” “Fire and the Flood” and “Lay It on Me,” from Nation of Two. While he’s still a bigger star at home in Australia, Joy has become a staple of American alternative radio, and he’s about to make sure all his U.S. fans get their share of the Joy.
