Celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, Cirque du Soleil’s initial foray onto the Las Vegas Strip, Mystère delights both the eyes and ears with a larger-than-life tableau of acrobats, comedians, contortionists and the world’s biggest—and most adorable—baby.

Audience involvement plays a significant part in the world of Mystère, from the audience member who gets chosen as Baby Francois’ “Papa” to the one selected as part of a magic trick that doesn’t involve magic so much as slapstick comedy. Throughout the show, you’re made to feel like a part of the action, from the “Duo Straps” act that flies directly overhead to bungee jumpers hanging from the ceiling.

The infectious fun continues with a teeter totter off which performers launch one another into the air, a long trampoline that allows acrobats to achieve thrilling somersaults, and a strongman act that will make you reconsider how much time you should actually be spending at the gym. Through all this spectacle, a live band and vocalists keep the proceedings moving at a compelling pace, culminating in the appearance of the largest, strangest-looking snail you’ve ever seen.
