Last year, the Southern California Latin pop and hip-hop festival Calibash held its inaugural Las Vegas edition, with Vegas resident Ricky Martin joined by other Latin-music superstars. This year the event, co-sponsored by radio station Mega 96.3 and digital music app LaMusica, once again features a Vegas resident as headliner, with Jennifer Lopez joining Luis Fonsi, Bad Bunny and Farruko.

Lopez is still riding high on her residency at the AXIS theater inside Planet Hollywood, and in 2017 released the first two singles from her forthcoming Spanish-language album Por Primera Vez. Puerto Rican pop star Luis Fonsi’s massive hit “Despacito” (featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber) topped the charts in 47 countries and became the most-watched YouTube video of all time.

Bad Bunny and Farruko are two of the biggest rising stars in reggaeton, Bad Bunny with his singles “Vuelve” and “Sensualidad,” and Farruko with his album Visionary. They collaborated on the song “Krippy Kush,” along with Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage. Together with Lopez and Fonsi, they represent the top of the Latin pop world, which Calibash is excited to bring back to Vegas.
