Tall white Roman columns pierce the blue sky. Towering palm trees sway. Cool, crystal blue waters stretch before you. The Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace is quite the scene to take in—it’s modern luxury meets the decadence of ancient Rome. Guests have seven sparkling sanctuaries to find fun in the sun—seven pools with their own experiences. For guests 21 and over, try Venus European Pool Lounge; for über-VIP, book a daybed on the second-floor Bacchus Pool; and for more of an intimate vibe, head to the Apollo Pool. If you’re in a social mood and looking for fun and frolic, be in the center of all the action at Neptune Pool, known as the “party pool” of the Oasis.

The sight of Neptune Pool is quite impressive. A long, rectangular body of water is surrounded with cushiony daybeds and plush cabanas. Nearby is a bar and DJ booth; and for those who feel the luck of the gods, swim-up blackjack tables are adjacently located at the Fortuna Pool.

At the bar, guests can enjoy a menu packed with cocktails, including three specialty “Freaky Tiki Cocktails.” Inside fresh coconuts, the Cîroc Colada is a blend of Cîroc Summer Colada vodka and coconut water, and the Ultimate Piña Colada is mixed with Malibu coconut rum, coconut water and pineapple, coconut and lime juices. Served in a pineapple is the Nice Coconuts cocktail with Bacardi coconut rum, blue curacao and Mike’s Hard strawberry lemonade.

Other libations include frozen lemonade, margaritas and heavenly selections like the Green Eyed Goddess with Hendrick’s gin, Chareau aloe liqueur, green apple purée and Rogue citrus cucumber soda, and The Gods Mimosa with La Marca prosecco, St-Germain elderflower liqueur and orange juice. There are also beer, wine and champagne selections and bottle service. A special find is the Dole Whip, a pineapple-flavored soft serve frozen dessert that you can mix with Mount Gay Black Barrel rum for that adults-only treat.

For those spending the whole day at Neptune Pool, it would be wise to grab a bite, too—and the food menu offers some standout selections. Keep it light with salads, like the flank steak salad with fresh summer vegetables, or the tuna poke bowl, fruit cup and chicken tomato pesto panini. There’s also an assortment of burgers, pizza from Di Fara Pizza, chicken wings, nachos, kobe beef hot dog and desserts.

To spoil the god or goddess within, take a break from socializing and book a Qua Baths & Spa poolside service. Settle into a chair massage—15, 20 or 30 minutes—and feel the tension and tight muscles melt; a cold compress is applied throughout the massage to keep you calm, cool and relaxed. You can also book a 50- or 80-minute regular or deep tissue massage. The “Love My Legs” chilled leg treatment includes a lime blossom scrub, deep massage and a chilled wildflower clay mask with reflexology and an application of a hydrating and rich moisturizer to seal in softness. Starting at $15 you can request fun, funky and flirty body art, a perfect accessory that will complement your going-out ensemble.

As the sun begins to set, so too does the day come to an end at Neptune Pool and the six other pool paradises located at the Garden of the Gods. It’s a pleasant way to spend the day soaking up the sun and having fun at Caesars Palace.
