Christmas with Clint Holmes has become a favorite Las Vegas tradition at The Smith Center, with Holmes himself as a perfect Vegas holiday ambassador. A longtime Strip headliner, Holmes is a versatile performer who can sing everything from old-school jazz to the great American songbook to timeless Christmas classics (His big hit was the 1973 single "Playground in My Mind").

Although he's best known to Vegas visitors for the years he spent as a resident performer at Harrah's, The Venetian and elsewhere on the Strip, Holmes has had a varied career that includes Grammy and Emmy nominations and a 1973 chart hit with the single "Playground in My Mind."

Holmes' most recent album is 2017's Rendezvous, which includes duets with jazz stars Jane Monheit and Dee Dee Bridgewater, among others, on a range of contemporary and vintage cover songs, all of which have special meaning in Holmes' life.

Whether he's paying tribute to his influences, performing original songs inspired by his childhood, or celebrating the joy of the holiday season, Holmes knows just how to connect with an audience. He's played intimate showrooms and large festivals, but his approach is always the same. "Well, I do what I do," he told the Las Vegas Sun last year. "In that sense, it doesn't change."
