Little Blue Box Dreams

For the ladies, when it comes to jewelry, one name has stood out from the rest: Tiffany. Now, you and your girlfriends can discover the brand all over again by taking a trip to the Tiffany & Co. store at Bellagio. It’s at this location, and the only one in Las Vegas, where your group can visit the new Tiffany T Bar.

“Everything’s always been under lock and key, we want people to be able to experience the jewelry,” says Richard Pesqueira, market director for the Tiffany & Co. Las Vegas market. “The Tiffany T Bar is an experience that was made for the enjoyment of the client. It’s a place to have fun and play with the jewelry. We want everyone to come in and have a good time.” No appointment is needed to experience the bar and a style expert will assist your group with trying on the various pieces. The expert will show you how to take pieces from the popular Tiffany T and Tiffany HardWear collections and mix, match and layer pieces and even show you how to transition your look from day to night.

Another cool feature at the store is the new engraving station, a sort of do-it-yourself doodle board where you can create your own image or choose from a library of images loaded on an iPad. The image is then engraved on to any Tiffany piece you’ve purchased and it’s all done in-store, while you wait. The engraving starts at only $25 and it’s a chance for the guest to put their own personal, unique mark on iconic Tiffany pieces.

While inside the store, check out the new Return to Tiffany Love Bugs collection, too. With warmer temperatures in full swing, the new collection is fashionably in sync with the season and its outdoor adventures. The pieces, which come in yellow, rose and white gold, and sterling silver, are inspired by nature and include rings, pendants, necklaces, brooches and more in the shapes of butterflies, ladybugs, birds and blossoms. Some include vibrantly colored stones such as blue topaz, yellow and green quartz and amethyst.

While the past has put many of the Tiffany pieces under lock and key, as Pesqueira mentioned, this new phase of inviting the customers to play and explore the jewelry collections and purchase pieces that have been designed with a fun, whimsical spirit signals a type of change, Pesqueira says, “I think this is bigger than a phase, this is the new Tiffany’s.” –Kiko Miyasato
