Pool club offers many ways to stimulate the senses
It’s not a mirage—it’s a paradise, an oasis in the heart of a desert. With sand and surf, waves and water, the aquatic playground at Mandalay Bay transports guests to an island dream. With thousands of tons of sand and a wave pool that holds 1.6 million gallons of recycled water, guests can happily lounge and swim all day … but for those 21 and older, nestled inside the beachy scene is Moorea Beach Club.
At Moorea, you can find many pleasurable ways to achieve complete poolside relaxation that also includes European-style sunbathing. For the day, think about reserving your own personal space for lounging.
Options include day beds situated poolside that can fit up to four guests; there are also opium beds that are more centrally located so you and your party can enjoy all the action, as well as living room spaces with sofas and lounge chairs. If you really want to splurge, book a cabana inside the Pavilion, which overlooks all the action at the club and accommodates up to eight guests comfortably.
There’s also a private pool and lounge area that the Pavilion cabanas share, and inside each cabana are daybeds and lounge chairs. Other amenities include a wet bar, ceiling fan, lock box and 42-inch LCD TV. Plus, your party will be personally attended to by your own cocktail server who can assist with making drinks, sharing conversation and taking care of whatever needs may arise.
If you want your pool club experience over the top, take it to the top—the third level of the Beach Side Casino building that not only overlooks Moorea but the entire hotel property’s beach complex. The Moorea Villas can accommodate up to 12 people and there’s also a private pool area for villa guests to share. Each villa is fully furnished and comes with stocked wet bar, changing area, restrooms and a personalized service host for the entire day.

Dirty Dancing
Magic Mike Live brings to life the sizzling Magic Mike movie franchise. Gather the girls and enroll in “X” Burlesque University. The afternoon class is taught by one of the fabulous showgirls of the revue “X” Burlesque.
