The work of Daniel Tosh has permeated much of modern comedy. The comedian became so famous so quickly that, whether directly or indirectly, his influence is felt throughout today’s comic scene. A Tosh line like, “Babies aren’t dishwasher-proof,” is the type of punch to the face that shocks the system—like the stuff Anthony Jeselnik is currently doing.

Then there are his more playful strikes like, “It’s not spring break until somebody dies,” which is a line one could easily imagine Adam Devine doing. It will be interesting to see what comes next for the 44-year-old comedian as he settles into this next stage of his life: A married millionaire with a hit television show, Comedy Central’s Tosh.O.

Whatever the case, we can expect Tosh to bring his own point of view, which will no doubt still be really funny and probably influential.
