For the last seven years, Las Vegas-based band The Rhyolite Sound have been delivering hard-edged country music at various venues around town, including the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, Hard Rock Hotel, the Bunkhouse downtown, Brooklyn Bowl at The Linq, and Golden Nugget. They’ve also released two albums, Desert Honky Tonk and Mojave Gold, and blend elements of outlaw, rockabilly, honky tonk, blues and rock and roll. And while the band is currently sheltered along with the rest of the country in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Rhyolite Sound has already performed multiple live-streaming concerts for their fans.
