Neon is a huge part of Las Vegas’ history and culture, and the Neon Museum downtown recognizes and celebrates this with more than 250 signs. Established as a nonprofit in 1996, the museum offers a unique story about every sign, including the personalities behind it, what inspired it, where it was made and when. The museum plans on reopening later this month, but until then, enjoy the latest episode of Vegas at Home, in which Derek Weis, the education and engagement manager at the museum, takes you on a virtual tour.
