So the pandemic ruined your plans to attend Las Vegas Raiders games at Allegiant Stadium this season. We understand your pain. But, luckily, you’re in Las Vegas, where Allegiant Stadium was never your only option. Between the city’s restaurants and sports bars, you’re sure to find a comfortable spot to watch the game come Sunday. Here’s a few we like.
Beer Park
1. Beer Park (Paris, 702.444.4500) It’s like a backyard party, except it’s on the Vegas Strip. Gather (responsibly) with your Raider Nation buds, drink (responsibly) a Bud Light Lime, snack on a soft pretzel with beer cheese and enjoy the game.
2. Ellis Island (4178 Koval Lane, 702.733.8901) It was already a locals favorite, but since adding a patio and beer garden—known as The Front Yard—last year, it’s become a sports haven for all. There’s seasonal beer brewed by Ellis Island Brewery, upscale bar food and an 18-foot big screen TV to catch all the action.
3. Wolfgang Puck’s Player’s Locker (Downtown Summerlin, 702.202.6300) It was a great idea for Puck to transform his former Summerlin restaurant, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, into a sports bar. Now, Puck’s delicious menu offerings are paired with a casual, lively sports atmosphere. But will the Raiders live up to the same standards as Puck’s food?
4. Tom’s Urban (New York-New York, 702.740.6766) Pro tip: Order the cornbread pancake topped with Nashville-style hot chicken. Not only is it a dynamic duo, it’s a double bonus: It’s tasty, and if a potential Raiders loss makes you a little teary-eyed, you can blame it on the hot sauce.
5. PBR Rock Bar & Grill (Miracle Mile Shops, 702.750.1685) The cocktails here might inspire you to play a few Raiders-related drinking games. Here’s one: Take a sip from one of PBR’s signature 50-ounce Porch Pounders every time quarterback Derek Carr throws an interception. You might finish the whole thing.
6. Lily Bar & Lounge (Bellagio, 702.692.5615) Sure, it’s a little more upscale than your average sports bar, but think of it this way: If you want to sip on a nice cocktail in an intimate and sophisticated environment, but can’t get your significant other away from a TV on a Sunday, this is the perfect compromise.
The Still
7. The Still (The Mirage, 702.692.8455) This place has 27 high-def TVs. Basically, anywhere you look, you’ll have your eye on the Raiders game. But those eyes might drift away from the screen when you see a plate of crispy chicken wings slathered in a spicy Korean sauce land on another person’s table.
8. Public House (Luxor, 702.262.4525) You don’t go to stadiums just for sports, you go for the food! But what’ll you do now that you can’t go to the stadium? Don’t worry. This spot serves up stadium-inspired food like tuna poke nachos, mac and cheese bites and truffle fries, so you can watch the Raiders and feel like you’re at the stadium, too.
9. Yard House (The Linq Promenade, 702.597.0434) Unlike the Raiders, this place is a model of consistency. When you go here to watch the game, the chicken nachos or the truffle fries you order are always on point, and even if they’re out of your favorite beer, there’s so many on tap that you might find a new favorite.
