Take a virtual trip through neon and Las Vegas history with Beyond the Boneyard: Restored Roadside Relics, presented by The Neon Museum.

The virtual presentation, held via Zoom, happens on Thursday Feb. 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. Reserve your spot for the free event by registering here.

Hosted by the Neon Museum staff, the virtual journey highlights nine restored signs located throughout the streets of downtown Las Vegas. Hear all about the unique stories behind each individual sign—like the Horseshoe casino and Society Cleaners signs—and the restoration process that the Museum and local organizations collaborated on to help bring neon history back to life, and back to the streets of Sin City.

The Neon Museum was founded in 1996 and operates as a non-profit organization. Its museum collection, spread over more than 2 acres, houses an outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard, as well as, the North Gallery where high-tech wizardry is used to re-illuminate and bring back to life more than 40 non-operational signs. Guests can book tours through the Boneyard and check out the visitors’ center located in the former La Concha Motel lobby. For tour information and tickets for the museum, located at 770 N. Las Vegas Blvd., visit neonmuseum.org
