Some would say that Rehab at Hard Rock Hotel kicked-off the dayclub craze in Las Vegas, but it was Wet Republic that took over and carried the torch into the future of daylife.

Opened in 2008 by world-renowned nightlife and daylife operator Hakkasan Group, the sprawling, 54,000-square-foot dayclub at MGM Grand meshed together a high-intensity party with upscale surroundings. Designed by the premier Rockwell Group, deluxe bungalows with private dipping pools, VIP cabanas and the open-air lounge and bar helped establish a more luxurious poolside experience for day revelers.

What helped push the dayclub’s reputation into top-tier status was its year-after-year slate of incredible EDM DJ residencies with big names like Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Zedd, Kaskade and Hardwell leading the charge.

To aid in its over-the-top musical offerings, Wet Republic introduced the first fully immersive and cutting-edge audio-visual technology in a dayclub setting, including a recent upgrade in 2020. The new design came with a stunning 4,000-square-foot LED display directly above the artist performance space, customized DJ booth and new sound system that rivals most concerts and music festivals.
