Bingo, bingo, bingo! If you’re like me, bingo is a serious way to relax. And while you may know about PLAYSTUDIOS’ other Vegas-themed games, like myVEGAS Slots, POP! Slots, my KONAMI Slots and myVEGAS Blackjack (and they provided some serious relaxation and respite during the shutdown last year), you probably haven’t heard about the newest family member, myVEGAS Bingo! Just released this week, the app takes you to the MGM properties on the Vegas Strip, where you start playing live games in Excalibur.
As you play, you’ll earn playAWARDS loyalty points that you can exchange for free and discounted rewards at MGM Resorts International properties, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Cirque Du Soleil, Wolfgang Puck and House of Blues.
“myVEGAS Bingo is an exciting opportunity for PLAYSTUDIOS and our community of players,” said Andrew Pascal, founder, chairman, and CEO of PLAYSTUDIOS in a release. “It allows us to build on the success of our flagship myVEGAS franchise as we extend its signature experience into a very popular new casual game category.” The game was developed jointly with Boss Fight Entertainment, whose founder and Chief Creative Officer Bill Jackson said in a release, “We were thrilled to partner up on the development of a new casual bingo game that combines our experience developing multiplayer social games with their established brands and playAWARDS loyalty program.”
The games offer some other cool twists on traditional bingo apps, like the loyalty program. My favorite has to be the powerups in the games, like dragons blasting numbers and the Luxor light blasting rows; every property has a unique powerup themed to the that casino. Another really cool thing about the app is that you can form your own bingo clubs, or join an existing one (up to 30 members), creating a sense of connection. So come on, hop on board, and bring along everyone you know!
The app is available on both iOS and Android.
