Las Vegas is a city that is known for doing things bigger, better and best. So the bar is raised when it comes to celebrating the new NFL season and Vegas’ first professional team, the Raiders. The long tradition of tailgating is more than just a parking-lot party in Sin City; instead, it’s a completely awesome experience.

The new Bud Light Beer Garden at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Hacienda is 130,000 square feet of outdoor gameday fun. Admission is free, and it’s within walking distance to Allegiant Stadium, so ticket holders can pregame four hours before kickoff. But you can also catch the game on the ginormous screens inside the venue. Grab a seat at one of the many picnic tables set up throughout patches of green grass and dig in to eats from some of MGM Resorts International’s favorite eateries like International Smoke, Diablo’s Cantina, Public House and Beerhaus. Thirsty? Grab a beer or cocktail at one of the many bars. Fans can also delight in live DJ sets, interactive football challenges, life-size Jenga and chess, and special appearances from sports legends.

Other highlights include the PlayStudios Suite, sports betting and a VIP package. Players of games like myVegas Slots and myVegas Bingo by PlayStudios can exchange points earned during their gameplay for a ticket into the über-cool, decked-out PlayStudios Suite. Bettors that want to place a wager on the game can check out the venue’s sports-betting suites from MGM Resorts’ BetMGM sports-betting company. Those that want that totally Vegas experience can book the $99 VIP All-You-Can-Eat-&-Drink package. Guests can enjoy a private, air-conditioned tent with tons of tables and chairs, multiple TVs throughout the space, a bar and buffet loaded with bites from MGM Resort’s restaurants.

The Bud Light Beer Garden is open for all Raiders and UNLV football games, as well as for some of Allegiant Stadium’s select sports and entertainment events. Our tip: Park at Luxor and walk toward the front lobby of the hotel and through the doors leading to the porte cochère; then turn right and take the path toward the Beer Garden.
