The Backstreet Boys are resuming their DNA World Tour where they left off in 2020, starting with a four-show reset at The Colosseum that leads into the 29th anniversary of cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson joining the vocal group. Howie Dorough, who co-founded BSB with AJ McLean in 1993, dubbed the Caesars Palace dates as “Backstreet Boys 2.0” with “all the greatest hits and a bunch of bells and whistles” during a February interview with Entertainment Tonight

The most pivotal act in boy band history has the daunting task of re-imagining a Vegas headlining residency experience born in 2017. The Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life shows helped demonstrate that the era of Britney, Christina, NSYNC and Boyz II Men had become a dominant facet of Las Vegas entertainment.

The current buzz concerns who will show up at whose residency. Nick Carter, who cited having to work off some pandemic pounds leading up to this engagement, teased to ET that Spears would be a welcome guest, and set boy-bandita hearts fluttering when he raised the possibility of a Joey Fatone or Lance Bass moment onstage.
