The question on the minds of fervent Michael Bublé fans who plan to attend his limited engagement at Resorts World Las Vegas is likely, “Which songs from Higher will be part of the set?” Tracks from the new album, released March 25, fit in well with the catalog of standards and easy listening chestnuts he draws on for live performances. Naturally, he’ll satisfy audience expectations with arrangements he’s preparing with a full orchestra for his Vegas shows. “Sway” will surely be in there. “Quando, Quando, Quando” and “I Only Have Eyes for You” are likely to be holdouts from his 2021 sets, as well as his version of the stirring “When I Fall in Love.”

The man from Burnaby, British Columbia, has a slew of options from Higher to choose from, including Paul McCartney’s “My Valentine,” which could replace “My Funny Valentine.” “Crazy,” his duet with Willie Nelson, might fit well alongside “You Were Always on My Mind.” Bublé faithful should keep fingers crossed that he’ll take the opportunity to add his cover of Sam Cooke’s “Bring It on Home to Me,” which would be a great complement to his rendition of the Bee Gees “To Love Somebody” in his concert repertoire.
