One of Las Vegas’ favorite holiday venues returns this year for the 11th season, as The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool becomes an ice rink.
Each week, you’ll find plenty of events at the rink, from all-day skating to a Date Night Skate complete with classic holiday movies. Date Night Skate kicks off with The Nightmare Before Christmas at 7 p.m. on Nov. 15, then continues on Mondays and Tuesdays (and extra nights Christmas week) until Jan. 2.
The rooftop venue comes complete with a rink-side café nearby in the Overlook Chill, serving up hearty meals like chicken pot pie biscuits and beef brisket chili plus gingerbread decorating kits and s’mores kits. Several seating areas are also arranged around reservable fire pits.
A holiday cocktail menu features twists on favorite drinks like the Mele Kalikimaka, a version of a Dole Whip featuring Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, Cointreau, fresh lime, peppermint-infused orgeat and Dole Whip.
Snow flurries happen from 7-11 p.m. Friday-Sunday (hours vary throughout the season), and special events include a tree lighting with Raiders running back Josh Jacobs on Dec. 7; Sunday night circus-themed parties from Marquee Nightclub; and, on Dec. 1, a real treat—Benny the Ice-Skating Dog does a variety of tricks.
The ice rink is complimentary; skate rental is $20-$30 with some restrictions; minors must be accompanied by an adult 21-plus and have a signed liability waiver.
