Virtual town squares wax and wane with popularity, but Town Square Las Vegas has remained consistently vital as a place to shop, see, socialize and spend family time in real life since it opened one mile south of the Strip in 2007. Anchor tenants such as Guitar Store and H&M, an 18-screen movie theater, and drink-and-dining options such as Blue Martini and Yard House helped make it an immediate hit.

Those places still draw in the masses as well as Apple Store devotees who found the Town Square location the most efficient to access in the valley. The outdoor mall layout makes it easy to target individual retailers from Hollister Co. to Hot Topic or spend half the day shopping for shoes at Cole Haan, Cavalli or Karl Lagerfeld Paris boutiques.

Bonefish Grill, Fleming Prime Steakhouse and Kabuki Japanese Restaurant are just a few choices among Town Square’s eateries, while vegans and vegetarians can hit the salad bar at Whole Foods with confidence. And the Children’s Park and Cactus Coaster help smaller shoppers work off energy after indulging at Ethel M Chocolates or Mora Iced Creamery. If the human body did not need sleep, there would be little reason to leave Town Square.
