If there is any center bar that can be considered a center-Strip center attraction, The Chandelier at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas easily qualifies. It’s surely one of the seven wonders of the Strip. There are as many selfie-scene possibilities as there are sparkling beads in designer David Rockwell’s three-story cascade of crystals that became instantly iconic when The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas opened in December 2010.

First there is taking in the expanse from the exterior. The Chandelier Bar has a large casual lounge on the ground floor that creates a segue from the casino floor and reflects its energy. The lounge on the next level up is in the Chandelier’s interior, opening in the evening and serving craft cocktails to patrons in more intimate environs overlooking the action below. The top level provides a place for high-altitude enjoyment of signature drinks such as the vodka-and-espresso All Knight Long and tequila-based Hotel California.

Like the destination in that Eagles song, there is pink Champagne on ice to be found any time of year, and you can check out any time you plan to gather for a feast at one of Cosmo’s restaurants. Otherwise, the drink menu at The Chandelier under the supervision of head mixologist Craig Schoettler may be so inviting you may never want to leave.
