No two things quite go together like football and Thanksgiving. Seriously, there are three games scheduled on the holiday itself and plenty more slated to take place all week. But in a city like Las Vegas, the arrival of Turkey Day brings a week full of all kinds of sporting events and viewing parties. With so many options, from pro sports to collegiate athletics; from basketball to hockey to football; from being at the game to watching at the bar with your buds; why not let the cosmos help you choose?

Vegas Golden Knights (T-Mobile Arena. axs.com)
Holiday season? More like Sagittarius season! We love you for your high-energy exuberance, and there’s no better place for your vibes than a Vegas Golden Knights game.
For the Nov. 29 battle against the Winnipeg Jets, start with a pregame in The Park, where you’ll find eats like Salt Bae’s steakhouse, Nusr-Et, and more casual eats like Shake Shack and Luke’s Lobster. Taste specialty cocktails and unique beers at Beerhaus and find sweet treats at the Hello Kitty Café before entering the Fortress.
Take your seat a bit ahead of the puck drop to witness one of the most authentically Vegas-style entrance spectacles you could imagine. Impressive projections and an ice-skating knight in shining armor transport fans to a medieval fantasyland just before the local team takes the ice. And you won’t want to miss the national anthem, typically sung by Carnell “Golden Pipes” Johnson, the trained opera singer whose rich vocals serve the well-known but difficult-to-sing song oh so well.
Once the game begins, keep an eye out for star players like Mark Stone and Shea Theodore, but also watch some of the more recently rostered players pull off some impressive gameplay. The Knights have a near-unbreakable defense, but the Jets’ offense packs major firepower, so expect quite the bout.
If you’d rather mill around and sip and snack throughout the game, score some tickets to the Sire Spirits Party Deck. Located right beside the castle that overlooks the arena, this clublike atmosphere is perfect for large group celebrations.
Don’t forget to shop for merch in the Armory and save your ticket stub to cash in on special promos like free fries at McDonald’s if the team scores in the first period and two free tacos at Taco Bell if the Knights sink two pucks in the same period.
