Who says you have to stay up late to enjoy this city after dark? The sun sets somewhere around 6 p.m., and then after that … it’s dark! So, if you want to have the Vegas at night experience while also having the experience of being in bed before midnight, read on.

Get one of the best nighttime views of the city from above it! Book a Maverick Helicopters tour, pictured, over the Strip, downtown and surrounding area to see the twinkling city lights like never before. For a quick trip, book the Vegas Views package, which lasts about 10 to 12 minutes and takes you over the main drag of Las Vegas Boulevard after sundown. If you have a bit more time to spare and want to see the beauty of the American Southwest, book the Neon & Nature tour at sunset. You’ll depart the bustling metropolis and soar past the stunning sandstone cliffs of Red Rock before touching down for a brief golden-hour champagne toast and returning just as the city comes to life for the evening.

Speaking of phenomenal views, have dinner at the 360-degree-rotating, 106th-floor Top of the World restaurant at The STRAT. Not only will you see practically every inch of the valley, you can do so while enjoying one of the finest meals you can find on the Strip. More than five fine steak options and entrées like crab and scallop-stuffed sole or wild mushroom Bolognese promise decadent delights that will leave you satisfied. Leave room for dessert; the warm butter cake is to die for.

Feeling sporty? Book an evening bay at Atomic Golf also at The STRAT, where you can choose from seven different driving range games like 21, a golf-ified version of blackjack, or Warships, a game in which you must use your best swing to destroy enemy ships before they destroy yours. Round out the experience with a beer in the tap room.

Obviously, it’s a ton of fun to be in Sin City after nightfall, but you can also transport yourself to a fictional world where two-dimensional characters come to life at Particle Ink at Luxor. When the sun goes down, live performances fill the space, telling the story of Particle, Feather and their fight against evil forces. It’s an after-dark, can’t-miss experience complete with plenty of photo ops and interactive elements.
