There’s a little place at the top of an escalator on the second level of The Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes, not far from the Palazzo Tower, where “Wild West” takes on a whole new meaning. Visitors to Atomic Saloon Show enter a realm far removed from the glitz and glam of The Strip, where cowboys and cowgirls who think they’ve seen it all are subjected to a series of acts curated by proprietor Boozy Skunkton that balance the fine line between risqué and raunchy.

The middle sibling of Spiegelworld productions Absinthe and DISCOSHOW, Atomic Saloon Show is the most intimate of the three due to its bi-level design and short runway stage that stretches to the center of the room. Skunkton has an entourage that includes sultry hoop spinners and acts ranging from acrobats demonstrating superhuman strength on minimalist balancing apparatuses to dancers who emphasize synchronized hand choreography as much as fancy footwork and a nun who plays ping-pong without a paddle.

This is not a family-friendly show, although Skunkton does make all in attendance feel like a temporary family of friends. Friends, that is, who are not easily offended by unfiltered humor and may even be up for a little audience participation.
